We require payment for equipment hire on the day of delivery by cash or card. A refundable deposit of £250 will also be required on the day.
You can pay via BACS payment to our bank account using your online/telephone banking. Bank details will be provided upon request.
What documentation do I need to provide when hiring equipment?
FOR PRIVATE/DOMESTIC HIRE
I.D. will be required on the day the equipment is delivered along with 2 utility bills for the hire address, dated within the last 3 months.
FOR BUSINESS HIRE
Confirmation required of your 'Hired In Plant' insurance cover.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A deposit of £25 is required on the day of delivery. The deposit will be fully refunded following the collection of the equipment subject to the equipment being returned in the clean and undamaged condition it was delivered.
What are the delivery charges?
Delivery and pick up in Ellesmere Port is free.
Delivery and pick up within the following areas is £20: Wirral Helsby Frodsham Chester
For all other areas, please contact us for a quote.
What time will you deliver and collect the equipment?
Times will be agreed when the booking is made.
Can I collect the equipment from you?
No, we deliver all equipment and collection is not possible.
How do I operate the equipment?
Please refer to the handbook provided with the equipment upon delivery.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel an item you have hired. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if less notice is given.
Can I keep the equipment longer than the agreed hire period I have booked?
You may book the equipment for a longer period if it is available for extended hire, please contact us if this is required. If we cannot extend the hire period we will collect the equipment as previously arranged and we will you offer you the next available booking slot. We may be able to offer an alternative machine if we have one available.
Can I move the equipment to another premises/site?
No, this is strictly prohibited, the equipment can only be used at the premises it was delivered to.
When I have finished using the digger does it need refuelling before it is collected by you?
Yes, please ensure the tank is filled with the appropriate fuel. The fuel type will be clearly marked on the fuel cap and refuelling advice given upon delivery.
Do I need to clean the equipment prior to your collection of it?
Yes, please brush/wipe down the equipment to remove any excess mud/dirt. The equipment will be delivered in a clean state and should be returned in this manner.
What if I have damaged the equipment?
You are responsible for the equipment whilst in your possession. Pre-existing damage will be noted before hire. You will be charged for the repair of any damage that occurs during your use of the equipment along with lost hire days while the equipment is repaired.
How are you hiring equipment safely during Covid 19 pandemic?
All our equipment is sanitised after each period of hire and again when it is unloaded and delivered to your premises. All our staff will wear masks and adhere to social distancing during delivery. We will wipe down 'high touch areas' on equipment when we collect it from you.
